Thank you everyone. You all were right. It was the heater control valve. I was able to get a bypast part for 2.00 from Auto Zone. Filled up the radiator with 50/50 and off to the races we went. Got the car home just fine.
Will order the new part tomorrow. Once again the good folks on Brickboard have made me look like a car guru with my husband.
