Timing belt riding forward - then breaking -aft head gasket replace -HELP

I had the same type of thing happen with the timing belt on my '89 765t. My issue was caused because the hole for the bolt that holds the tensioner to the block had stripped, allowing the tensioner to slide out. I used a heli-coil to repair the hole, and its been fine since.
