Steering rack boots have Power Steering Fluid in them

I went to change my inner tie rods on my 1986 Volvo 240 and when I removed the steering rack boots, a bit of red fluid (power steering fluid) gathered in them. They don't leak on the ground or anything, but I just want to know if this is a cause for concern that fluid was in them.

Thanks!
Martin
