Hi! My 1988 740 wagon is starting to show some evidence of its age. The car runs great but it is starting to show some rust spots behind the sunroof. I recently took care of those but 3 months later they showed again. The guys that took care of them told me that on the first repair the spots were superficial and that they are showing again because a reinforcement bar behind the sunroof probably is rusting away from the inside out. I beleive this to be true since the spots are appearing in an almost straight line behind the sunroof. Is this the beginning of the end??? I mean I know this could be repaired but it would take an inmense amount of work (taking off the ceiling upholstery and it would became very costly I think for a 14 year old car!) Any comments would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!!!
