Dyno numbers 1800

Brooks T. made the same suggestion when I described the problem. Maybe the distributor contact points are not tracking accurately after a certain rpm? I checked them out and they look healthy but you never know what they are doing at full-tilt-boogie. I agree that a tool like megasquirt will offer a lot at this point.

Honestly I rarely get an urge to drive the car over 5000rpm. But once I get the thing running well up to redline safely on the dyno I might get the urge more often.
