I get mine at the local auto parts store. Sometimes they have to order it.
After the bottle has been unsealed, don't let it roll around in the trunk of
your car. I did that once while on cross country vacation in the US in a rental car and the lid finally unscrewed, making quite a mess of the trunk carpet. That was a quart bottle, BTW.
Because of being hydrophobic, cleanup of DOT 5 brake fluid is different from that of earlier fluids. Water does NOT help. With old brake fluids I used to use soap or detergent and plenty of hot water. For DOT 5 that only makes a mess, and I have gone to mostly wiping with a dry rag or paper towels.
