Do you really think Mom did this?

The dimly flickering idiot lights often indicate that the alternator brushes are worn and need to be replaced. Sometimes when accelerating, braking, or cornering, the worn brushes make slightly better or slightly worse contact with the slip rings and the lights will go out or glow brighter.
