Thanks George - these Webers are brand new and especially cheap in this case which is why I'm tempted - they'd cost me less than a pair of SUs (I've already looked at the SU option). You're right though - the B18A is the weakest of the engines but this one seems to be sound which is one reason why I was thinking of working with it rather than changing it. Apologies for my lack of knowledge in this regard but can I fit a D cam to this engine without changing the head at this point in time? (I was thinking of changing the head but not quite yet...)
