Foreign material in engine- what to use to flush out 200 1990

My take on this don't worry too much about it.

The plastic bits won't breakdown and gum up the filter
if the bits sink the screen will keep them out of the oil supply
if they float they will become pulverised and come
out over the next few oil changes

small pieces won't harm the works...
big pieces will become small pieces...

The exception is if they fell down into the
gallery where they can interfere with the distro gear...
Once they are in he pan I don't think it's really an issue
