I want to add my "yes" to the question about an electronic ignition. I got one of those electronic units found on the 1975 B20 engines at a U-Pull lot for $15 including the distributor. I kept everything connected togehter as I removed it so it would be easy to install it on my B18 engine. I got the idea from a brickboard discussion a couple of years ago (looked for it but couldn't find it). It really works well and I am glad I made the conversion.
