Well, I had to break down and take the lower control arms to the dealer for the bushing R&R. I got my favorite Volvo tech, Mr. Bay13 himself, to do the job. I reassembled the suspension and now the car is ready for prime time. It needs an alignment and two new front tires and it should be good for another 130K miles.
