Svvas, my Aust b20e has vac advance standard, the delay valve i fitted slows the vac to diaphram and dumps quick on decel. They are fitted to many Jap cars. Since i fitted it at same time as tappet adjustment maybe that has stopped ping more than clearances. However i am now enjoying proper performance without earplugs. Will disconnect delay valve and see.
