242 Dash Light Problem 200

Whatever you do, don't put a bigger fuse in. Then the dimmer rheostat will go for sure. Like Chuck says, look for a console lighting function that is no longer working right. The socket falls out of its spot and its terminal hits ground when you hit a bump. Lighting for the climate control (he he - I mean heater/defroster panel) and automatic tranny shift indicator are top suspects. Then seat belt and rear e-brake console lighting.
