Temp gauge problem 200 1991

I would have someone else look at your radiator. Your mechanic's explanation sounds suspicious.

"He said the radiator is half boiling and half very cold."

What does that mean??? Have someone else look at it.

It might just be coincidence, but it does sound like your temp. comp. board might have gone bad after the accident. That isn't a big deal. Maybe you can find someone to fix it for you. Also, IPD has a jumper with instructions to repair that - IPDUSA.com. About $15 I think.
