It sounds like it got unset somehow. You have to go through the "programming" (generous term) sequence to reset the computer (generous term #2) to recognize what it is doing again.

I'm not sure it is in the owner's manual, but it is in most of the aftermarket ones. I don't know the procedure offhand.
