To my recollection, it seems like I remember seeing a fair number of custom AC kits advertised in hot-rod, VW and other such magazines. You could probably find the same companies with a moderate web-search also.

If you can't find true vintage Volvo parts for such a project, perhaps you could assemble your own system?
