The reason I asked if I could perhaps swap out upper-arms is because I do have a line on some control arms for quite cheap from a parts vehical. I could take those off, get them powder-coat painted perhaps, and then have them all ready when my big bushing redo project is ready to go...
Is there any rhyme or reason to why there's a shortage of uppers as opposed to lowers? Is there some mechanical reason that upper were replaced more frequently than lowers over the span of all these years? I would figure that lower ball joints would be the ones to be replaced more frequently, as those bear more of the weight. I'm always curious as to why things are they way they are and all.
Thanks as usual!
