This has worked for me. 200 1989

What I have done is get a clean, fairly large diameter syphon hose. Drag the garden hose over to the car and crank up the flow.

Fill the resevoir up all the way up with the clean water and then just leave the garden hose stuck in the top of the resevoir so the water is bubbling over. Anything that is light enough to float will bubble over and out of the resevoir.

Now get the syphon going with the syphon hose and then use the hose like a vacuum cleaner to suck up anything that sinks to the bottom. Pull the garden hose out of the resevoir so you can syphon almost all of the water out.

Do this a few times until the resevoir is clean.

Good Luck
