Please add my name to the list of owners who have experienced excellent results by re-routing the knock sensor cable away from the alternator. I've had a "slow-acceleration-from-a-stop" problem for years; the car would accelerate quite nicely after the first ten yards or so, but getting there took forever. I changed the cable routing, and the car now accelerates "normally" from a stop. The difference is very noticeable. Thank you, Charles R Dinges!!
