You should use the OBD diagnostic socket to check for any stored trouble codes -see the FAQ for info on how to use and interpret the LH 2.4 OBD-I system. The original rpm (crank position) sensors for your year were known to be weak. If the ECU doesn't see the engine turning over then the fuel pump won't run and the injectors are kept closed. This problem is known to be aggravated by a hot engine. That would certainly be my first suspicion. If you check the FAQ and search the RWD forum and the Archives you'll find notes on rpm sensor problems (such as checking for a damaged cable) and how to identify the old and new sensors. The radio noise suppression relay would be my next suspect -again check the FAQ for more info and tips for switching that relay with the cooling fan relay located next to it on the coolant expansion tank.
