740 SE A/C STOPS BLOWING

Well, I am back (problem below). The one way valve was replaced and problem is not fixed. I took it back to the shop and they tell me they need to replace the diaphragms ($960) later and they call me today to tell me they still have a leak. What should I do? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi, new owner of a 91 740 SE Turbo Wagon with 180K miles.
With the A/C or just the air blower on and I step on the gas, air stops blowing immediately; it resumes blowing once the needle of the turbo gage drops below the "Turbo Line"
