Grandson Ben and I are gradually getting the Yellow Peril (145E) back
together, including a trial fitting of the driver's door upholstery panel
(without upholstery) today. Came across a couple unhooked things that I
failed to mark/map way back when so maybe some of you oldtimers can help
me with this.
1. Got a single black wire in a plastic sheath (looks like shrink tube but
isn't) that comes out of the firewall about 3" above the speedometer cable
and has a male flat 1/4" push-on connector on it. Can anyone tell me where
this gem goes?
2. Got a breather box on the side of the engine that needs a hose hooked
to it. Where does that hose go?
While we're at it you might be interested to know that I hooked the electric
Auxiliary Air Regulator up in place of the water-heated one and have wired
one side of it to ground and the other side to the Bosch alternator output so
that it will warm up and close when the engine is running. Anyone see a
potential problem with that? Sure makes the wiring nice, short and simple!
Thanks for any help you can give!
