That's a lot of smoke, ayup. Did it smell like oil? What's odd is that on the first run on the movie, there's one pretty good puff while you're accelerating, not just when backing down.

Are you getting oil deposits on the plugs?

(BTW, that doesn't sound to me like you're only pulling to 4000 rpm, or whatever people were telling you...)

Darn, wish I coulda been there.
