NO START 700 1988

I would listen to your fuel pumps and make sure both the in-tank pump and main fuel pump are running. Sounds like your timing is fine since it will run on starter fluid, and I'm assuming nothing else changed...you can listen to the rear pump through the gas tank, and you can also connect the leads of your fuel pump relay (see manual of FAQ for the right wires to jump) to get the main pump on.

If your plugs look to be in health condition and you can see spark (use a flash tester to make sure it jumps the 1/4" if necessary) and your distrubutor is sending power to all 4 plugs it is most likely a fuel pressure problem or an injector problem...like the post before said you can listen to the injectors clicking using an engine stethescope or a long screw driver up against your ear while someone cranks the car....watch out when leaning over a turning engine.
