I think that I will also have to repalce my Catalytic Converter what should I use?

Gutting a 'cat' is a bad idea. Not good for the air, and the smart folks at Volvo designed the engine and exhaust system as a functioning unit( back pressure, etc), and I always try to keep it as close to stock as possible. Eeuroparts.com has the Starla cat back exhaust kit for the 240's at around $110 frieght paid, can't be beat,and a new OEM type cat for around $120. I would not do any business with anyone that would offer empty to a cat. A person with that kind of outlook would probably not have a problem with emptying your wallet too.
