You may get even further benefit from the rear mount- the gearbox to crossmember mount. Recently replaced one on an automatic 1988 745 and found it completely separated. Transmission bolt rubbing on crossmember- what a noise!

The mount was only $13 USD. Yours may be even cheaper if it's not automatic.
