Good a.m. and may this find you well. Sorry to have to relay bad news, but it is likely the relay. The fact that the intermittent feature does not work, is what suggests to me that the relay has failed.

You should go to a salvage yard, that allows customers to remove the needed parts, and pick up a couple spares for each type of relay. Test them to be sure they work, and then put them into a plastic compartment box. Sooner or later, you'll need them.
