Thanks guys, sounds like everything is normal then. Mine can start off in first from a standstill and go to the rev limiter,never goes to second but if it's pulled back into low when going say 30 0r so it stays in second till getting to around 20 then goes back into to low. Has anyone ever tried to go around the rev limiter,or bypass the thing, at 6500 mine still seems smooth. Don't think I'd want to take her past that but it would be interesting to know where the rpms have been taken on these beasts.
