It wasn't the fuel pump. It is an electrical problem - PLEASE HELP! 700 1990

Which fuel pump did you replace. From experience I know that if you changed the tank pump it is very easy to knock a wire off. The ground is through the body of the unit, soldered to the top and quite easy to disrupt if you tried to remove the "plug".

As with any electrical problem a voltmeter is the best tool to have in the tool box.
