Relax......key here is COLD. No need to replace anything. A bit of heat to the door latch will get it to operate as it should. Pick up a disposable butane lighter or one of those gun like lighters for B-B-Q's. Next time your door latch won't latch, when it's COLD, fire up the lighter and spareingly put heat to the latch. Guess condensate or moisture gets in there and freezes the latch. COLD makes Bricks do strange things.....mine likes to freeze the throttle wide open on up shifts........have to squirt some deicer / lubricant in there...when it get more warm out there.
