Thanks for responding so quickly. When you say the crankcase breather are you referring to the flame trap? That is replaced every 25K when I do my tuneup and the tubing it attaches into is always clean, never plugged. My engine thermostat is replaced when I do my timing belt which was 25K ago and will be done in 25K, but the car's temp is right on the money. I drive 90 miles (highway) daily. When I drained the coolant, I was still nice and clean looking, no oil or discorloration noted. This all may have happened before and I just never noticed the froth on the oil dip stick. I also looked under the filler cap and all was well. I'll just keep an eye on everything.
