Do you mean B230FT with a Garrett turbo? If yes, I have the same car (sedan) with (probably) the same problem. I have the check valve on the way - if you mean the one between the BOV (at the #1 cyl) and the intake manifold.
The bad valve on mine - the arrows point toawrd the manifold.
Did the replacement of this valve help in your situation?
Just to re-cap what mine is doing. When I really put the petal down, and the boost somes on - it will drop out - like it is losing power - really abrupt. Once I back off, it will re0gather tiself and go on.
One other thing it does is it will drive for miles pretty good at 60 or so, and then all of a sudden will die. I will pull over and it will crank right back up. It is like something is building in the motor (like pressure) and it just shuts it down after a spell. Is any of this like what yours is doing?
