Just got what was sold to me as a rebuilt B20 long block "ready to put in".
I am a bit concerned first because it came without its flywheel. I understood that the Volvo crank and flywheel are balanced together. It was sold to me as having been "balanced and blueprinted".
Can I go on the assumption that the crank has been perfectly balanced and that I should take my parts flywheel to be balanced separately and putting them together that they will both be balanced around the axis of rotation?
Or, must I pull the crankshaft out ot the block and take it and my parts flywheel in for rebalancing?
Or, can I just mount my parts flywheel and go on happily?
