I bought an inexpensive straight, stiff, white plastic plumbing pipe that is the same OD as the ID of the dipstick tube. Cost $2-3 at Home Depot or Lowe's and I cut one end at a 45 degree angle (that's the end I stick into the dipstick tube) and the other end I attached to a funnel. I can stick the stiff pipe into the dipstick tube from above and fill with ATF without mess or trouble. Have done it many, many times.
