Try grounding the wire hooked to the spade connector on the back of the alternator with the ignition in the II position and see if the alternator and other idiot lamps light up. If they do then there is a problem with the alternator. If the alt. lamp does not light, check the bulb. If the bulb is burned out then the alternator will not charge, nor will the other idiot lamps light, other then the srs lamp which is indicating low voltage in the srs system. Good luck, John R.
