You also need to be able to launder it from time to time or the trapped dust will scour off your paint.

I like the heavier ones better as they tend to trap more dust in the fabric so it isn't rubbing on the paint. The nylon-type stuff is only good for tree sap and bird droppings (and not much of either, either).
