Good catch! I mis-spoke with the "...metal bushings everywhere" statement. I actually meant to put a disclaimer at the end of that sentence, and just forgot. What I meant to add was that the main (lower) trailing arms are stock rubber bushings, front and rear. Everything else is heim joint or metal bushed. The front suspension is 100% metal, no rubber or plastic anywhere.

Springs - at the front we are currently running 700's, I believe they are a little over 7 inches free height. I also have a set marked 900, but I can't imagine needing that much spring in the front. The rears are only 8" long, but they're between custom machined spool & shim assemblies... I'm not sure what the total length of that assembly (upper spool/spring/shims/lower spool) would be back there. Just my gut feel, but I would think the 9" and 13" springs are going to put your car an inch or so higher than mine, assuming stock spring perches. This would also be dependent upon on tire size, of course... I'm running 205/50-15 Hoosier R3S04 DOT race tires. My front crossmember has a little over 2" ground clearance... not very streetable!

Again, I wish the 240 guys luck with the SCCA weight adjustment... I've been involved in some online discussions that center around the exact same situation with different models of the V6 Fiero, which runs in ITA. In this case, it's the '84-'87 year models, versus the '88 year model. SCCA has turned down repeated requests for an adjustment on the '88, which carries 220 lbs more weight than the '84-87, all with the same 2.8l engine!
