Electrical Nightmares 200 1988

"I press the break and the break light goes out and I put in a new bulb and same thing."
Light bulbs shouldn't be burning out on first usage. Could your system be overcharging?

Take a voltmeter and measure the voltage at the battery with the car running. Be carefull, as if the battery is being overcharged, I think there's potential for explosion.
