If I can assume that we are talking about the LH system here, a code 511 is defined as "long term fuel trim lower limit". The sounds more like the computer compensating for a rich condition and not a lean condition that a vacuum leak would cause. You might want to look for things like a faulty fuel pressure reg or a dirty air filter to start with.
