Amp Light and Loss of Electrical Functions... 120-130 1967

I just wanted to concur, to say that you're not alone. I have had exactly the same problem twice last summer. You push the indicator lever, and the amp light goes on. Once, the problem went away after a few minutes, the second time I stopped the car, restarted, switched on/off every device I could think of, and it went back to normal. Very unscientific, I know. BUT, there was no loss to the other units (fuel guage etc), as far as I remember.

Tom
