Sorry, I guess I didn't read your post carefully enough.
Forget about the warping question - I was having a hard time visualizing what you meant in your reply but I just needed to mull it over again.

I'd still like to know if there's other things I should look into before going through all the trouble of removing the head and giving it to a machinist though.
