Silly me, I tend to inspect them and recondition in place if they are in good shape. Some solvent and a toothbrush will clean the rollers and sluice out any old grease and junk well enough to inspect their condition. No pits and I just repack and go.

I've rebuilt VW roller TO bearings too (another "impossible" job).
