Did not disconnect the amp light 120-130

I did not disconenct the amp light, I just replaced the older three-light aftermarket charging indicator with a voltimeter. Same circuit, different monitoring device. I get 14 volts when I turn on the car and shortly after I start it, but a solid 12 afterward.

Seems that the alternator may be in trouble after all. Good thing I have a spare unit....

This is precisely why having a real gauge is a nice thing.
