Duette, are you quiet shure, that the plastic gear causes your problem with the odometer? Is the plastic gear obviously broken? If not, the problem might be due to insufficient friction between the counter axle and the zinc gear right besides the 1 mile display wheel.



How to fix the problem you can look here (many pictures, text in German).
