Hello...I have taken the following measurements: piston # 1 stamped with a (C)..measures 95.88 mm lowest, 95.89 mm highest. Piston #2 stamped with a (D)lowest was 95.91 mm & 95.92 mm highest. Piston # 3 stamped with a (D).. lowest 95.91 mm and highest was 95.92 mm. Piston #4 stamped with a (D).. lowest was 95.88 mm and 95.89 mm highest. The b230ft cylinder measurements were: Cylinder # 1 lowest was 95.97 mm, highest 95.99. Cylinder #2 lowest was 95.94 mm and highest 96.01 mm. Cylinder # 3 lowest was 95.99 mm and highest 96.01. Cylinder # 4 lowest was 95.99 mm and 96.04 mm for the highest.I am trying to use the old pistons with new rings. Can I re-use my exsisting pistons or do I have to rebore to the next ovesize? The new ring set is made by hastlings and they measure as follows: Upper and lower compression rings thickness is 1.62 mm, and are 3.98mm wide. The oil scraper rings came in at .42mm thick and 3.16 mm wide. Please advise. Thanks again.
