M41 trans possibility 120-130

OK So I just went through this 3 months ago. Shipped an M41 to California, flew out, got the car and trans together. Unlike your bolted angle extensions, mine was welded to the cross member-sort of visible in the picture. With the weight of the OD and this setup, I had contact between the crossmember and the casting betweent he trans and the OD. I had to die grind some of the casting away, as well as the crossmember. I also got a new 164 type trans support bushing. I think with your bolted setup, you would have better luck adjusting the tilt of the crossmember to avoid this interference. Me, I don't like it. And I don't like the wide automatic tunnel - I subsequently found another (standard) body and may just put the M40 back in the automatic and the OD trans in this other body.

As an aside, I would strongly recommend a right angle drive off the speedo output on the OD. KEEPS THE CABLE OFF THE EXHAUST. You'll be glad you did.
