Poor, poor design... 700 1987

In defense of the Gauge. Granted, it has no numbers but it does appear to be pretty linear. I've never had a catastophic failure like some of you guys. But I did have an indication of impending doom. When the Crappo 2 pass Plastic Radiator started to plug up. The gauge picked it up. Since then I installed a 3 pass metal and the gauge is back to a little less than half again.

I've never seen an engine that reaches operating temperature as fast as my B230FT. In an emergency situation I'm sure you have less than a minute to react.

Even a precision gauge with numbers will not protect you if you are not paying attention.

Like doing defensive driving in NYC. Trying to stay away from these huge SUV's. With the driver pre occupied with a Cell Phone.

Now that really raises my temperature (Not the car's) :-)
