740: heavy clutch

Hey,
I have the same 'problem'. I compare the 740 clutch to the 240 we used to have. I think the 240 must have a longer pedal, thus travel distance is longer decreasing force applied. In my 740, it creaks, and takes a bit of effort to depress, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse. Maybe I'm just strong, but it doesn't bother me too much, except that it seems like I have a little less feathering control.
