Greetings to all .

I have a 2001 V70 XC AWD ,,I hear sound-like motor behind the Temperature control/Heated seat button., somewhere there.Its annoying in away .. Its goes ON even if I shut down my engine for another 3-6minutes ..Its not so loud and yet You know its there and its audible ..Just wonder what it is ..Is it something I shoud worry. I know It shouldnt be that way ..Can anyone enlighten me or help me out on this ,,what do you think is this ..Pls anyone advise Thank a Lot really

    This is not a STORY. Others might help you if you posted on the FWD/AWD forum.

    If the noise is coming from the passenger side footwell, could it be the blower motor? There are dampner motors on both sides of the instrument cluster, but you shouldn't hear them.

    When is the last time you changed the cabin filter? It could be clogged and causing the fan to run too long. The fan will run after engine turn off if the AC has been on, that is to help dry the evaporator and is normal.

      Thank you sososmuch for the info u just gave me .. Its not coming from the footwell...Its really behind , as in behind the Thermostat Control Knob, Heated Seat button...Pretty much in tha area ... its annoying in away ..ON and OFF .. even if i killed my engine it stays there for a good 3mins.. thansk Hoping I can get more enlightenment once again .. appreciate it so much
