240 Quick Steer Roll Correction Kit from Kaplhenke Racing

I was wondering if any of the 240 V8 folks here are running the "240 Quick Steer Roll Correction" Kit from Kaplhenke Racing (see the following link for info).

If you've installed these, what are your impressions? I think they sound interesting; they may help solve some of the issues I have with a lowered V8 car, and may also help improve the steering feel (right now seems very 'ford-ish" in terms of hi-boost/low feedback).

Thanks in advance!

Steve A-

Well, I bought the kit, and I haven't installed it yet. I got it for the reasons you said about the steering being over-assisted, and to level my control arms out.

Hopefully this spring I'll get them in.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the response. When you get a chance after the install, please post your thought/impressions--both about the installation and any changes to the handling and/or steering.

As I understand it, raising the roll center in front (and leveling out the roll axis a little) should mean less body roll, give better turn-in characteristics, and less understeer. I'll be curious to hear what you think!

Best,

Steve A-
